EF Solare Italia met the students of the XXVI edition of the Master’s programme in ‘Energy Resources Management’ of SAFE Risorse con Energia, for a two-day training session, both in the classroom and on the field.
During the Company Day, the participants got to know the company closely, through the testimonies of Michela Demofonti, Head of Institutional Affairs & External Communication; Andrea Blason, Institutional Affairs & External Communication; Francesco Palmieri, Head of Asset Management; Eduardo Ballo and Francesca Tornesi, Business Developer, exploring the functioning and strategy of the different operational areas.
The experience continued with a field visit to the Cassiopea plant in Montalto di Castro (VT), a strategic asset in the Group’s portfolio. In operation since 2009, the plant produces more than 40 GWh of clean energy each year, helping to meet the needs of around 15,000 Italian households. Matteo Teodori, Asset Manager, and Aurelio Calabrò, HSE, welcomed the participants, sharing the best practices for the management of a utility-scale photovoltaic plant.
Our commitment to the development of the photovoltaic sector passes through the training of future solar energy professionals, with a special focus on agrivoltaics, technological innovation, and sustainability.
