EF Solare Italia is the leading player in the photovoltaic technology field in Italy and one of the major ones in Europe, with an installed capacity of over 1 GW.
In 2020, the company completed the acquisition of the Spanish solar operator Renovalia Energy Group.
In Italy, it holds a portfolio of over 300 solar plants spread across 17 regions, with a capacity exceeding 850 MW.
In Spain, it operates 10 photovoltaic plants with a combined capacity of over 190 MW.

In the last 10 years, EF Solare Italia has invested in the best solar energy technologies, increasing the number of photovoltaics plants and continuously improving their performance.
These are significant steps towards Italy’s energy transition and the reduction of the environmental impact of electricity production.

The fourth edition of the Sustainability Report is now available, documenting our efforts in service of the energy transition, alongside regions, individuals, and communities.
Renewable sources, particularly photovoltaics, are now a cornerstone of the national electricity production system.
The greatest challenge in decarbonizing the Italian energy system will be the ability of sustainable source to compete with fossil ones in the absence of economic incentives.

With an innovative strategy, we have initiated projects capable of fostering synergies between different sectors and expediting the energy transition process.
Renewable energies must assume a prominent role in the national energy scenario, including through inventive development models like agrivoltaics, which can yield multiple benefits for the environment, communities, and local economies.
