IREX 2025 Report
Once again, EF Solare Italia took part in the presentation of the IREX Annual Report, held at the GSE (Gestore dei Servizi Energetici) Auditorium in Rome. An key event, organized by ALTHESYS Strategic Consultants, to analyze data, market dynamics and prospects of the Italian energy transition.
The report highlights an acceleration in the development of renewable energy plants. However, further evolution of market instruments, greater flexibility and significant investments in infrastructure and storage systems are needed to ensure sistemic security and adequacy. In this scenario, Solar PV is confirmed as a key technology for achieving decarbonization goals, as well as for ensuring competitiveness and national energy security.
Andrea Ghiselli, CEO and General Manager of EF Solare Italia, spoke within the panel “Operators’ strategies: CfD, PPA or merchant?” moderated by Fausta Chiesa of Corriere della Sera, sharing the Group’s strategic vision and projects. Giuseppe Argirò, CEO of CVA, Eugenio de Blasio, CEO of Green Arrow Capital, Roberto Pasqua, CEO of EDP Renewables Italy and Michele Pizzolato, Head of Regulatory Affairs of ENI Plenitude participated in the discussion.
