Integrated Photovoltaic Conference
EF Solare Italia participated in the first edition of the “Integrated Photovoltaic Conference” in Florence, an event organized by SEAMLESS-PV Project and dedicated to the integration of photovoltaics in urban, rural, and landscape contexts. The conference facilitated discussion among experts through presentations and workshops that explored technical innovations, design, and regulations for sustainable development.
Angelo Pignatelli, Head of Engineering at EF Solare Italia, spoke on the panel “Agrivoltaics: transitioning from demonstration projects to utility-scale systems,” moderated by Paolo Picchi of ETA-Florence Renewable Energies, sharing European experiences and the objectives of the SYMBIOSYST Project.
“Agrivoltaics represents an extraordinary opportunity to combine the growing demand for clean energy with the preservation of agricultural and landscape resources. Our goal is to develop and promote best practices that create value for all stakeholders. The integration of agriculture and solar photovoltaics, just like a virtuous symbiosis, has the potential to generate mutual benefits and broader positive impacts,” said Angelo Pignatelli.
